For $129.99 the Corsair Vengeance K90 is in the top 2-4% of keyboards on Newegg.com. For this price I really expect perfection, and this means Corsair needs to make every key mechanical. Otherwise, the enthusiast get a great product out the K90 with its linear force switches, brushed aluminum exterior, and software that is easy to use. Overall though the Corsair K90 is an extremely expensive keyboard but it does provide many great features for users. Because of its beautiful design, Cherry MX Red switches, and longevity I am excited to reward the Corsair Vengeance K90 Benchmark Reviews Silver Tachometer award.

This is a keyboard you’ll find yourself making excuses for though, because day by day, tap by tap, it becomes a luxury you can’t imagine gaming without. You don’t need those delightfully clicky keys and that rugged build, and you could probably survive without the LEDs. But if you’re in a position to shell out for it, your opulence will be rewarded with an almost exemplary level of functionality.

However, that is a small blot on an otherwise glorious piece of hardware. With high quality switches, heavily braided cable, tank-like construction and very easy customisation the Vengeance K90 keyboard is excellent and a worthy winner of our OC3D Gold Award. Just a shame the software somewhat lets it down.

Corsair have done well in their first attempt at a gaming keyboard, and I hope the Vengeance K90 becomes available with different switch options to allow for greater personal taste – with a full complement of Blue, Brown, Black and Red switches, the Vengeance series would be hard not to recommend. Even with a large amount of well designed gaming extras, it still proves to be the same cost as more basic mechanical keyboards.
