ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 Ti AMP! Edition 2GB

Product Website

60/100 – PC Format, November 2012

The best GTX 660 Ti around, and in a pleasing, diminutive form factor too. Still not a GPU we’d recommend though.

80/100 – PC Magazine

In terms of raw performance, the duel between the Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti AMP! Edition and the AMD Radeon HD 7950 is more or less a draw. We might give the tiniest edge to Zotac here, if only because of the power usage, but ultimately what games you play will determine which is the better card for you. If you can spend closer to $400, the Editors’ Choice GTX 670 offers even more oomph across a range of titles, but both the 660 Ti and the 7950 and 7870 cards bracketing it are well priced.  So if you’re limited to exploring the $300-$350 price range, both companies’ choices there are good ones.

93/100 – Editor’s Choice – TechPowerUp

NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 660 Ti will be a hit of that I am sure. The card delivers excellent performance levels at reasonable power consumption, which enables board partners to create low-noise custom designs. The new GTX 660 Ti is almost twice as fast as the last-generation GTX 560 Ti, but comes at a $50 higher introductory cost.

85/100 – bit-tech

As it’s currently priced, the Zotac GTX 660 Ti 2GB amp! Extreme is actually good value compared to other board partners’ cards of the same GPU. It’s at least £20 cheaper than the regular and slower amp! Edition for some reason, and comes in at roughly the middle of the price range for GTX 660 Ti 2GB cards, but offers clock frequencies that are almost as high as the GPU will go in a package that is small, cool and quiet. Whether or not the price will remain at this price for long is hard to say, but the majority of e-tailers are selling the card closer to the £270 mark.

90/100 – Golden Bear Award – Bjorn3D

The ZOTAC GTX 660 Ti AMP Edition is small enough to make a lanbox or other small form factor gaming rig but powerful enough to blow the doors off most performance segment offerings.

60/100 – TechRadar

That’s before you think about the incredible overclocking potential the GTX 670 still has in its pocket. While the GTX 660 Ti AMP! edition is definitely the finest example of Nvidia’s new card we’ve seen, that still doesn’t mean we’d recommend it over the superior GTX 670 or HD 7950 it’s up against. This is not the GPU to pick your battles with, Zotac.

90/100 – Great Hardware – Pure Overclock

Nonetheless, we think Nvidia has another winner here, and the ZOTAC GTX 660 Ti AMP! Edition is an excellent card overall.
